    2026 Swim & Dive Registration

Dear Sardis Families: We are excited to announce our Swim & Dive Team registrations will be open on March 2nd to just before the end of May!

We’ve changed up the process for this year and moving forward and are as follows:

There are only 2 types of Registration Groups and therefore 2 different registration forms:

    • Swim Team for athletes who are going to be on the Swim Team.
    • Dive Team for athletes who are going to be on the Dive Team.
    • If you want to join both, please register all your athletes for the Swim Team 1st, and then separately for the Dive Team. If you don’t see your athlete when you sign up for Dive, just add them again. If you see any of your other children listed when you sign up that you don’t want signed up for a particular team, please delete them from the registration or they’ll be added to that team. You will see at the payments section if you signed up for the correct number of athletes. You can go back to the beginning of the registration and correct or double check the specific names of whom you are signing up. It generally keeps the information you’ve provided in subsequent pages so you don’t have to re-enter the information again.
    • If you inadvertently sign up for the wrong team, email your team rep. We will fix it.
    • Remember to use the email address you signed up for from previous seasons as this is what SwimTopia recognizes. If you need to change it, please let one of the reps.

All registration fees are non-refundable – so if you are unsure about registering a new child, please wait to register them after first attending the Beginner Swim or Dive Practice shown under the team Meet & Practice Schedule tabs on SwimTopia.

If you just have questions you can bring your athletes to the Team on March 28th from 9-11am where will have coaches and reps there to answer any questions. It’s also a great way to meet some of the other teammates and you can order swimsuits from the Reddiset Rep if ready to do so.

Registration is open until the beginning of the regular season. Again, see the team’s schedule for when the 1st actual meet is scheduled. All athletes need to be registered before the end of May. This is a firm requirement for the Swim Team per league rules.

If you plan to wait until after the Beginner’s Day Practice before registering, please let one of the reps know so we can put in an order for an extra t-shirt as these have to be ordered by May 1st.

    • Swim Team Fees – $115 per athlete. There are 7 separate meets and one League Meet at the end of the season.
    • Dive Team Fees – $75 per athlete. There are 4 separate meets and one All-Star League Meet at the end of the season.

If you have multiple athletes in different Registrations, each athlete will need to be registered separately in the Swim and Dive registrations. This can be a little challenging when adding each athlete to each separate registration.

    • If you are new to the process of adding an athlete to the system, add only the athlete(s) at each different registration. Don’t add each athlete in one registration and expect to be able to select a different team. If you do this by accident, delete the athlete from the incorrect registration form and re-enter their information into the correct registration form after you are finished with the first one.
      • Go to Registration - Sardis Sharks and select the appropriate registration link. Then follow the instructions for each of the separate registrations.
      • Don’t forget to double check each athlete's birthdate as this determines which age group they will be assigned by the system. Aging-up date is May 31st of the current year. This means that if your athlete has a birthday after this date for the current year, their age will considered before that so it does not change during the season.
      • Whatever email address you provide as the main email during registration will be the login email address for SwimTopia from season to season. If the email address needs to be changed, contact your team rep.
      • Don’t forget to add another parent/guardian to the registration with at least an email address to get pertinent information from the team(s) and be able to sign up for required volunteer positions if you are going to split the duties with another person.
    • If you are registering an athlete for both teams, please sign them up for the Swim team FIRST and then sign them up for the Dive team.
    • If you have registered athletes before, you may already know to register the existing ones in one registration and then you may have to delete one or more of the others from the registration form and re-enter them into the other registration. Remember that the email address you originally signed up with is the one you have to use for logging in. We can change that if you want to update the information, just contact the team rep to do so. Currently, you can only update your phone number and address, as a change of email will require to change your password as well.
    • At least one parent/guardian will have to volunteer for Meet and Event Jobs for a minimum of 2 pts per Athlete for the Swim Team and 2 pts per Athlete for the Dive Team they are on in order to complete the registration. Please select your jobs carefully to coincide with the dates you, and any other parent/guardian, can attend. See the volunteer policy in the registrations. Each job is assigned different point value based on the difficulty of the job. Your total points must add up to the total or more for each team per athlete. Swim is more complicated as there are many different types of jobs that are required to run a meet.
      • Afterwards when you are registered and have set up your SwimTopia account, you can see what you volunteered for by clicking on the blue tab on the topmost right corner of the page where it says “Welcome (your first name)” and select “My Account”, select your name and at the bottom you will see the dates and jobs signed up for (for each parent/guardian link). This may not be available right away as the jobs need to be closed once filled up. Sometimes this does not happen until just before the beginning of the season start. Email reminders for each job are sent out around a week ahead of time.
      • Any changes to your job availability requires YOU to find another volunteer to take your place and then email the team rep, and other volunteer, to let the rep know who is taking your place and they can change it in our system. We will need to confirm the other person first that they are accepting to take over your spot. Please avoid making any changes just before the meets and allow a week or so before the event to let us know.
    • Once you have successfully registered an athlete(s) you will receive a confirmation email for the team you’ve signed them up for and then you can email about if you need a swimsuit. And if new to SwimTopia, you will receive another email on how to login to the SwimTopia system. Download the SwimTopia app for easy viewing and sign up for events etc.
    • Note that you will need to give a T-Shirt size during registration for each athlete. These are provided free of charge. BEWARE any registrations after May 1st will not be guaranteed a shirt, or size if we have leftovers.

After you are finished with registering, PLEASE Sign up your athlete(s) ahead of time for all the Meets they can attend, including All-Stars League Meets, by declaring that they will/can be there or not, for both teams so as to not miss out. Please RSVP for all other Non-Meet events so as to let the reps know the head count expected.

We are looking forward to having you and your family join us this year!

    Go Sharks! :{X)
