Good afternoon- Sardis is VERY excited about hosting the Relay Carnival for the Yellow Division on Monday June 22nd. 

Theme: The Relay Carnival is focused on DUCKS! Wear anything duck related or the colors yellow and black. 

Warm ups: Sardis - 5:00-5:15     MB- 5:20- 5:35    OG- 5:40-5:55 Meet will start at 6pm Seating: Parents- Sardis would like all parents to sit together- please sit on either side of the pool- get to know parents on the other teams! Swimmers- OG will set up around the diving board; MB will set up under the covered deck, and Sardis will set up in the baby pool area. I thought it would be easier to round up the swimmers if we had designated areas for each team. 

Stroke & Turn: The relay carnival is ALL fun! Only blatant cheating and bad sportsmanship will earn a DQ 

Clerk of Course: Sardis will have 1 clerk of course for all teams. The clerk of course will be set up behind the slides. OG - A relays will be in Lane 3 and B relays will be in Lane 6 MB- A relays will be in Lane 2 and B relays will be in Lane 5 Sardis- A relays will be in Lane 1 and B relays will be in Lane 4 

Volunteer Meeting: We will have a volunteer timer meeting at 5:45pm in the baby pool. Parent Relays: We have 2 parent relays at the end of the meet. Please reach out to your team rep to sign up for a parent relay! 

Food: We will have Marcos pizza for sale in our clubhouse, BBQ sandwiches for sale in the parking lot and our concession stand will be open until 8pm. 

Carnival fun: We will have a bouncy house set up on the lawn. We will also have snow cones and popcorn on sale for $1.00. 

Donations: We would like to place a donation box at the front entrance to collect non-perishable items. All donations will be distributed to the local men’s and women’s shelters on behalf of the three teams. 

Awards: Sportsmanship Award- Sardis will have a QR code posted around the pool for parents to scan and vote for the team who shows the best sportsmanship throughout the meet! The QR code will be live during the meet only. Team Award- Team with the most points will be the 2026 Relay Carnival Champion 

Parking: We have spaces in the parking lot and parking on the street. Please only park on one side of the street. We want to make sure everyone is safe when walking in the neighborhood.
